The UUX web components are designed and built with accessibility in mind, aiming to provide Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) compliant building blocks with which apps may be built.

The accessibility tests outlined below are used to assess the accessibility of each of the UUX web components against the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines by our Temenos test team. The team was trained by experts from Digital Accessibility Centre.

Temenos employees may view the UUX Accessibility dashboard which gives an up-to-date view of known UUX accessibility issues, reported by component and WCAG A or AA level. We are currently addressing these issues. Our daily regression tests include automated AXE and keyboard accessibility tests to help ensure that our components remain compliant when changes are made.

As yet, the UUX web components have not been audited by a certified accessibility third party.

The following table shows the UUX core components that have successful AXE v4.7 regression scripts in place run as part of daily regression. The AXE tests look for compliance in the HTML structure and correct use of any ARIA tags so that accessibility aims are likely to be achieved. We are working towards coverage for the few that remain.

Temenos employees may view the latest AXE regression results on the team's Confluence page.
