In this edition we look at updates to our multi-product sandbox, go deep on our Unified User Experience (UUX) platform, and look at what’s in it for developers at our flagship event, Temenos Community Forum.
Temenos Transact Sandbox Update - R21.10
We recently upgraded the Transact component of the multi-product sandbox, bringing the (Transact) API Catalogue up to R21.10. This release included three brand-new Transact APIs:
- Message Service API – allows you to create and retrieve information about the message service – commonly known as the OFS.SOURCE record.
- Software Rollbacks API – allows you to revert the system after a software update. It includes POST, PUT and GET endpoints for creating, amending, and fetching rollback information.
- Master Data Access API – manages the configuration of master data access by allowing you to create, amend, and fetch the information Transact needs from external systems.
We updated the URL for the Create portfolio Endpoint. This resolved a critical issue that occurred when users tried to create a portfolio using this endpoint. Also, we made minor updates to 11 other APIs, affecting Transact, Payments and TAP (Wealth Front Office). We didn’t implement any patches in this release.

Dark Mode is the new Black
In our inaugural API Portal Newsletter, we invited your feedback. One of the changes we made is because you asked for it – you can now view the portal in Dark Mode. Anything to reduce eyestrain, right? Reduced screen glare saves energy and is much kinder to tired, dry eyes. To activate Dark Mode, look for the toggle in the top right-hand side of the API Portal.
